Justin C. Miller

Justin C. Miller, 33, formerly of Imbler and La Grande, died unexpectedly Oct. 28 near Ripton, Vt.

According to his wishes, his ashes were scattered by his family in Vermont.

Justin was born Dec. 31, 1974, in La Grande. He attended school in Imbler where he graduated in 1993 as class valedictorian. He was a National Merit Scholar and loved piano and computers.

He graduated from MIT in 1997 with degrees in electrical engineering and computer science. He was part of several start-up computer businesses in the Boston area where he had lived. He loved Vermont and had been living there recently.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Denice Miller of Imbler; brothers, Timothy of Henderson, Nev., and Patrick and Christopher of Golden, Colo.; grandmother, Doris Miller of Midland; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
