June Moberry

June Moberry, 89, of Salem and formerly of La Grande died Jan. 9 in Beaverton.

No services are planned at this time. The family will gather June 9 to plant a rose arbor in her memory.

Mrs. Moberry was born June 9, 1917 to Oscar and Anna Hultman in Ketchikan, Alaska. She was raised in Bainbridge Island, Wash.

In 1951 she married Ralph Moberry in Seattle, and the couple had two children. She lived in La Grande off and on from 1955 to 2002. Mrs. Moberry was a member of the Christian Science Church.

Survivors include her children, Carol Moore and Wendy Abel, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband.
