Judy Corinne (Schie) White

Judy White of Summerville died Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at her home at the age of 79.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center, 1502 7th Street, La Grande.  Private interment will be at the Summerville Cemetery.

Judy Corinne was born in Klamath Falls on June 20, 1944 the last of 6 children to Edward and Edna (Richter) Schie. The family moved to La Grande when she was three years old and she remained for the rest of her life. After graduating from La Grande High School with the class of 1963 she was married to Mack White on August 23 of that year.

Judy worked for many years as a housekeeper for the Grande Ronde Hospital until retiring in 2003.  She enjoyed leatherwork as a hobby and her pets, especially her cats.  She enjoyed being around people especially family.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Mack of Summerville, daughter and daughter-in-law, Corinna White and Jen Goins of San Diego, California, son and daughter-in-law, Don and MaryAnn White of La Grande, 4 grandchildren, Alex White, Natalie, Audrey and Grant Goins and siblings, Darlene Swan of Boise, Maxine Hopkins of Arizona, Merle Schie of Oklahoma.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Don and Bob Schie
