Joanne Truesdale

Joanne Truesdale, age 71, of Elgin died Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at a local care facility.


A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley with Bishop James Leathers conducting.


Mrs. Truesdale was born Joanne Pence on July 12, 1931 in Glendale, California. She attended schools in California and later Business College. Her first husband preceded her in death and on August 18, 1989 she married Grady Truesdale in West Linn, Oregon. They moved to the Grande Ronde Valley in October of 1994.


Survivors include her husband, Grady of Elgin; sons, Ronald Lawhorn of Umatilla and Robert Lawhorn of Portland; three grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Her daughter, Kristi Lawhorn, and her brother preceded her in death.
