Jess Richard Trump

Jess Richard Trump. Age 83, of Elgin, died June 4, 2007 at his home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elgin Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Trump was born on March 22, 1924, the son of Lacey and Lula (Lyons) Trump in Wallowa, Oregon. He graduated from Elgin High School. During World War II he served with the United States Army until being honorably discharged in 1945. He married Deloris Jean Read on July 5, 1946. He worked as a machinist and welder in Portland until he retired in 1978. In 1982 he moved to Elgin from Portland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, billiards, cards and sports.

Survivors include his wife, Deloris Jean Trump; son, Terry Trump; daughter, Peggy Koniak; brothers, Lloyd, Everett, Emit, Jack and Harry; sisters, Hazel and Willa; seven grandchildren, Jessica Posey, Jennifer Taylor, Nicholas Posey, Teresa Trump, Lisa Trump, Alexander Trump and Gwendelyn Trump.
