Jerrold Harm, 93, of La Grande died Saturday, June 25, 2005 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. Viewing will be from 4-8 pm Friday at Loveland Funeral Chapel. A celebration of life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Imbler Christian Church.
Mr. Harm was born December 20, 1911, to Edward and Allie Miles Harm in Elwood, Nebraska. On January 16, 1935 he married Bertha Heckenlivey there and lived in Vale for 47 years. In 1997 he moved to La Grande. He worked in the woods and farmed. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing baseball and watching games on TV.
Survivors include children and their spouses, Barbara Rae and Rick McLay of Brentwood, California and Alan Jerrold and Judy Harm of Idaho City, Idaho; a sister, Berdina Byrne of Omaha, Nebraska; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. A daughter, Beverly May Lewis, two brothers, Virgil Leroy and John Edward Harm, and two sisters, Mildred Dyer and Eleanor Leggott, all died earlier.
