Jeffrey "Jeff" S. Adams

Jeffrey S. "Jeff" Adams, age 53, of La Grande, died June 27, 2004 in the Veteran's Hospital in Walla Walla after an extended illness.

Mr. Adams was born on April 25, 1951, in Lynwood, California. He was the son of William J. and Wanda E. Moore Adams. He was raised and educated in Polson and Flathead Lake, Montana. Mr. Adams served his country during the Vietnam conflict, where he had a three-year tour of duty.

He married Debra Rossi on September 28, 1972 in Fort Hall, Idaho. The couple came to La Grande in the mid-1970's. While here he worked as a maintenance supervisor for apartments in La Grande. He enjoyed auto racing and racing cars as well as hunting, fishing and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Debra of La Grande; two children, Steven A. Adams of Fort Sill, Oklahoma and James E. Adams of La Grande; one grandson of Island City. His parents and two brothers died earlier.
