Jeffery D. "Jeff" Schroeder, 22 of La Grande and formerly of Milton-Freewater, died Dec. 30, 2005 in Walla Walla from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Milton-Freewater with Pastor Duane Geyer of the First Christian Church officiating. Private interment will be in the Milton-Freewater Cemetery.
Jeff was born Oct. 28, 1983 in Walla Walla, the son of Rick and Anita Waggoner Schroeder. He started his schooling in Milton-Freewater. At the age of 10 he moved with his family to California.
The family then moved to La Grande in 1995. He continued his schooling in La Grande. While in school he played baseball and football.
Jeff had worked as a manager at a restaurant, landscaping, Best Western Motel and most recently at Burgerville in Portland. He returned to this area in late December.
He enjoyed motorcycle riding, remote control cars, video games, drawing and cats.
He is survived by his companion, Amanda Thompson of Walla Walla,; a daughter Jasmine Schroeder of Walla Walla; his mother and stepfather Anita and Jess Munoz of La Grande; his father and stepmother Rick and Cheryl Schroeder of Clayton, N.M.; a brother Michael Schroeder, a half brother Tristan Munoz of La Grande, a stepsister Angie Munoz of Bakersfield, Calif., a stepbrother Jason Munoz of Hood River, grandparents Ray and Shirley Waggoner of Milton-Freewater, Gwyn and Tom Schroeder of Clayton N.M.; and two nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice through the funeral home.
