Jake William Marks

Jake William Marks, age 28, of Union, died Saturday at the Grande Ronde Hospital. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009
at 2:00 pm at Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center, 1502 7th Street in La Grande. Committal and interment will follow at the Union Cemetery.

Jake was born on October 20, 1981, the son of Phil and Carole (Ferguson) Marks in La Grande. He attended Union Schools and worked for the nut factory in Union. The most important part of his life was his son and daughter and family. He was a private person who had many friends and a love of music.

Survivors include his parents, Phil and Carole Marks of Union; children, Jordan Taylor Marks and Crystal Marie Marks, both of Union; grandmother, Connie Marks of Cove; numerous aunts and uncles; best friend, Josh Brotherton of Union and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Crystal Dawn Marks in 1993 and his grandparents, William Marks and Duane and Therese Ferguson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Jake Marks fund in care of Daniels~Knopp.
