Jack Edward Macgregor

Jack Edward MacGregor, age 72, of Seal Beach, California and formerly of La Grande, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 in Long Beach, California.

Mr. MacGregor was born on July 5, 1932, to Edward Herbert and Ellen Buchanan MacGregor in La Grande. He attended Island City School and La Grande High School, and served in the Marine Corps from 1951 to 1954, including one year in the Korean War. He married Rosann Andrews on December 29, 1952 in Santa Monica, California. He enjoyed traveling in a motor home and visiting family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of Seal Point; children, Charles Edward MacGregor of Dana Point, California and Elysa Ellen MacGregor of Long Beach, California; four grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Pabst and Tom MacGregor, both of Vancouver, Washington; aunt, Jean Walker and Greg of La Grande; and other relatives.
