Isabelia "Isabella" Carmen Jose Weimer

Isabelia "Isabella" Carmen Jose Weimer, age 8, of La Grande, died suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday morning with her family around her at Wallowa Lake.


A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center on Gekeler Lane. Viewing will be held from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. in the Primary Room at the Stake Center. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 7th Street, La Grande, Oregon 97850.

Isablia was born on August 3, 1994, in Chandler, Arizona. When she came into the lives of Bruce and Deanna (Wilkinson) Weimer and their family as an infant they immediately fell in love with her. She was an angel that was trapped in a disabled body who touched the lives of her family and friends in so many ways on a daily basis. Although she required full time care she gave back so much to those around her through her spirit and her smiles. Her spirit especially touched children and babies that came to know her through her school and church. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her parents, Bruce and Deanna Weimer of La Grande; siblings, Brandon and Alayna Weimer of La Grande; Corby Weimer, currently on a mission in Florida, Ryan Weimer of La Grande, Tory and Andrea Weimer of La Grande, Travis Weimer of La Grande and Kyle Weimer of La Grande; sister, Rebecca Weimer of La Grande; grandparents, Myron and Theresa Wilkinson and Mildred Faye Weimer, all of La Grande; and other relatives.
