Helena Alma Hook

Harlena Alma Hook, age 69, a lifelong resident of Elgin, died Monday, July 25, 2005 at her home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elgin Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Hook was born on August 24, 1935, the daughter of Vaughn and Frieda (Graham) Boswell in Elgin. She attended schools in Elgin and on November 10, 1956 she married Kenneth Hook in Lewiston, Idaho. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Hook of Elgin; children, Don Wayne and Vickie Hook of Sheridan, Oregon, Richard Lee and Kathy Hook of Elgin and Linda and Don Conzelmann of Elgin; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, LaWana Schwebke of Alicel and Dorothy Hallgarth of Elgin and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Mike Crisp.
