Helen Jesse Eggers, age 90, of Post Falls, Idaho and formerly of La Grande, died August 26 at a care center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
A graveside service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Pine Crest Cemtery in Sandpoint, Idaho. English Funeral Home in Post Falls is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Eggers was born January 27, 1913, to Lloyd and Jennie Seller in Salmon, Idaho. She married Grover Farris and after his death, Harold Emmonds. After his death she married Glenn Eggers, who also died earlier. She was a fine horsewoman and enjoyed auctions and flea markets. She ran a truck stop and service station for many years.
Survivors include her children, Forest "Sonny" Farris of La Grande, Shannon Eggers of Yakima, Washington and Jo Hayes of Post Falls; several grandchildren; a brother, Russ Seller of Creston, Washington; sisters, Clara Simonson of Grand Coulee, Washington and Jean Heinrichs of Reardon, Washington.
