Harold Thomas Adams

August 4, 1953 — September 4, 2004

Harold Thomas Adams, age 51, of Elgin and formerly of Everett, Washington, died Saturday, September 4, 2004 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Boise, Idaho of natural causes. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elgin Cemetery with Father Hank Albrecht officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Valley.

Harold was born on August 4, 1953, the son of James and Colletta (Bodenschatz) Adams in La Grande, Oregon. He graduated from Elgin High School and on March 20, 1982 he married Lessa Ping in La Grande. In 1986 they moved to Everett, Washington where he worked as a truck driver for Nelson Petroleum. They returned to Elgin in March of this year.

Harold's family was the most important part of his life and he was a loving father and husband. He attended all of his daughter's softball games and became a "Dad" to many. He enjoyed woodworking and working outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Lessa Adams of Elgin; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Amber Adams of Miramar, Florida; daughter, Chelsea Adams of Elgin; mother, Colletta Adams of Southlake, Texas; siblings and their spouses, Ed and Donna Adams of Southlake, Texas, Delores Adams of Ennis, Texas, Kaye and Mike Hanson of Vancouver, Washington and Becky and Rod Nichols of Boise, Idaho; Eleven nieces and nephews; four great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
