Gerald "Jerry Ray Bradshaw

November 21, 1931 — January 10, 2019

Gerald 'Jerry' Ray Bradshaw, age 87, of Pendleton and formerly of La Grande, died January 10, 2019 at a care facility in Pendleton. A memorial service will be planned in the spring. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center.

Jerry was born on November 21, 1931, the son of Donald D. and Evelyn Rose (Tamaris) Bradshaw in La Grande.  He graduated from La Grande high School in 1950 and then served four years with the United States Navy.  After his discharge he lived and worked in California in retail clothing, a bakery and at a Jewish hardware store and later moved to Alaska until the mid 1960's when he moved back to La Grande.  He worked as a custodian at Eastern Oregon university until his retirement in 1993.  In 1982 he married Terri DeMoss in Winnemucca, Nevada.  He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards, board games and Yahtzee.  He was a very social man and enjoyed coffee groups and eating out.

Survivors include his wife, Terri Bradshaw of Pendleton; step-children, Andria Bassett of Eugene and Marty Poirier of Anchorage, Alaska; half- brother, Lynden Rose of Cove; half-sister, Marcene Gerlach of La Grande; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; cousins, Aloha Bothello and Mickey Courtney; and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death bystep-daughter, Judy Young.
