Flossie Pauline Hutchison Sagers, 85 of Grants Pass and formerly of Elgin, died October 23 at the Three Rivers Hospital in Grants Pass. At her request there will be no service.
Mrs. Sagers was born July 16, 1919 to Ray and Anna Yarrington Robins in Elgin. She married John Hutchison of La Grande. The couple were later divorced. She married E. Thomas Sagers of Elgin on February 25, 1952. They lived in Elgin, Summerville and Brookings before settling in Grants Pass.
She enjoyed painting china, flower gardening, traveling, dancing, bowling and spending time with her extended family and friends.
Survivors include a son, Jim Hutchison of Hermiston, and a stepson and his wife, Verle and Phyllis Sagers of Klamath Falls; four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives. A sister, Grace Hammack, two brothers, Horace and Ray Robins, a daughter and son-in-law, Les and Nancy Case, her husband, Tom Sagers, a grandson, Kenneth B. Wadley, and her longtime companion, Elmer Thompson, all died earlier.
