Faye Roethler

February 4, 1938 — August 9, 2002

Faye Roethler, age 64, of La Grande, died Friday, August 9, 2002 at her home.

There will be a public service announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Roethler was born on February 4, 1938, the daughter of William C. and Doris K. (Walker) Johnson in Charleston, Illinois. She moved to La Grande in 1968 and she worked at Terry Trailers until 1979. On July 23, 1979 she married Ronald Roethler in Reno, Nevada. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping…anything to do with the outdoors. She also enjoyed cooking and flowers.

Survivors include her children, Teresa Priester of La Grande, Marty O'Dell of Imbler and Shannon O'Dell-Wettlaufer of Michigan; step-children, Ronetta Prince of Union, Trent Roethler of Phoenix, Arizona and Tina Bush of Phoenix, Arizona; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; sisters, Billie Garoutte of La Grande and Sherry Sheldon of Phoenix and other relatives and friends.

Those who wish may make contributions in memory of Mrs. Roethler to the charity of one's choice in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 7th Street, La Grande, Oregon 97850.
