Evelyn Irene Weatherspoon

Evelyn Irene Weatherspoon, age 67, of Elgin, died March 18, 2007 at her home. A celebration of life will begin at 12:00 noon Saturday, March 24 at the Rockwall Grange.

Mrs. Weatherspoon was born April 18, 1939, the daughter of Lloyd Rodney and Gladys Marie (Dodson) Brock in White Salmon, Washington. She graduated from high school in Portland, Oregon. In 1984 she moved to Elgin from Portland and she worked as a bartender. On April 7, 1988 she married Donald Weatherspoon in Elgin. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2005.
Mrs. Weatherspoon loved rock hunting and the outdoors. She enjoyed her home and family.

Survivors include her brother, Dwayne Lee Brock of Waukomish, Oklahoma and sister, Rita Sleight of Washaugal, Washington; two nephews; two nieces; numerous cousins and other relatives and lots of friends.
