Emma Lou Shaffer

Emma Lou Shaffer, 2, of Elgin died Dec. 18 after a long illness. The funeral will begin at noon Friday at the Elgin Christian Church.

Emma was born Jan. 9, 2003, to Justin and Kim Shaffer in Walla Walla. Her charming smile, contagious laugh and sparkling blue eyes touched the lives of many people.

Survivors include her parents and a brother, Calvin; grandparents, Jack and Georgia Shaffer, and Boyd and Sheree Follett; great-grandparents, George and Gerry Follett and Norma Follett, all of Elgin; uncles and aunts, Derek and Selina Shaffer, Shellea and Kelly Montgomery, Lyle and Heidi Follett, Bret and Shannon Follett; and other relatives.
