Emma "Louise" Prince 62, a lifelong resident of Harney County peacefully passed away in her home March 23rd, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
Louise was born June 20, 1944 in Burns to Allen and Twyla Turner and was raised on the family ranch.
On January 20, 1973 she was married to the love of her life Gale, her "prince" and they enjoyed a long beautiful life together sharing their love for the outdoors, family and friends.
In January of 1979 they bought B&B Sporting Goods, making many friends and serving the people of Harney County for over 20 years.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Gale of Burns; daughter Serita and husband Tom Barnes of St. Helens; daughter Tanna Prince of Las Vegas, NV; son Todd Prince of Burns; daughter Tina and husband Dave Bossuot of Burns; brother Harley Turner and wife Vickie of Reno, NV; mother-in-law Bertie Prince of Wallowa; brother-in-law Darrell and wife Gwen Prince of Union; brother-in-law Lowell and wife Barbara Prince of Kamiah, ID; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Twyla and Allen Turner; son Terryhl; daughter Tandi and father-in-law Ted Prince.
Services will be held at the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Burns on Saturday March 31st at 2 p.m.
