Elizabeth Annetta (Betty) Leslie

Elizabeth (Betty) Annetta Leslie, age 77, of La Grande, died Saturday, September 16, 2006 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. At her request no services will be held.


Betty Leslie was born on December 18, 1928, the daughter of Carl P. and Myrtle (Harmon) Cloud in Elma, Washington. In 1969 she married Bruce Leslie and the couple remained married for 30 years before he preceded her in death. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church here in La Grande.

Survivors include her brothers Bob Cloud of Bellingham, Washington, Hank Cloud of Oregon and a sister, Barbara Jacobsen of Puyallup, Washington, her son, Carl (Jake) Jacobsen of Gig Harbor, Washington, three Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild. Her parents and husband, Bruce Leslie, all preceded her in death.
