Eleanor Viano Clark

February 28, 1916 — January 2, 2005

A celebration of life service for Eleanor Viano Clark, 88 will be held at 10 a.m. January 14 at Loveland Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Sarah Stanton of St. Peter's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will follow at Island City Cemetery.

Mrs. Clark died Jan. 2 in San Bernadino, Calif.

The former La Grande resident was born Feb. 28, 1916 in Cumberland, Wyo., to John and Hilda Hendrickson. She married Sherman Clark in Kemmerer, Wyo., on July 2, 1938.

She was a homemaker, a lifetime Episcopalian and a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star in Kemmerer.

Survivors include her son, Robert and his wife, Carol of La Grande; daughter Loree and son-in-law Peter Boyd of San Bernadino; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Jiacoletti and Elna Jiacolletti.
