Edward Odin Miller

Edward "Ed" Odin Miller, age 64, a lifetime resident of Union, died August 19, 2008 at his home. A celebration of life memorial gathering will be held on Monday, August 25, 2008 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show clubhouse. A more detailed obituary will be published later.

Ed was born on May 5, 1944, the son of Odin and Fonda (Helmick) Miller in La Grande. He graduated from Union High School and then attended Oregon State University and Eastern Oregon University. He was a fourth generation rancher in Union. On July 31, 1965 he married Sue Cunningham in Union.

Survivors include his wife, Sue of Union; children, Cassie Miller of Pendleton, Cinda and Justin Fratzke and Odin and Shandy Miller, all of La Grande; sister, Karen Catlin of Union; grandchildren, Paisley Miller and Landon Fratzke; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Terri Miller Garity.
