Edna Pearl Sheets

Edna Pearl (Whitmore) Sheets, 90, of Enterprise, died Oct. 14 at her home. A service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Enterprise Christian Church with David Bruce leading the service and Tim Schmeck saying the eulogy.

Burial will be held at Prairie Creek Cemetery in Joseph.

Edna was born Feb. 20, 1919, to Harley Whitmore and Merle (Knapp) Whitmore. She grew up in the Leap area.

Edna married Shirley Gordon Sheets Dec. 22, 1939, at Lewiston.

She worked as a secretary in Enterprise and in Joseph. She was the primary superintendent of the Christian Church for 23 years and said she loved it. She was a member of the Enterprise Christian Church.

She loved sewing, cooking, gardening and yard work.

Survivors include her husband, Shirley "Bill" Gordon Sheets of Enterprise; daughter, Glenda Marie Carmony of Enterprise; sister, Lila Emmons of Milton-Freewater; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
