Edna Fay Long, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007 at Hospice of Louisville. A
A memorial service was held Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Evangel Christian Life Center in Okolona, Kentucky.
Fay was born in Miles City, Montana. Along with her parents she and her brother moved from Miles City, Montana in 1937 to the Grande Ronde Valley. She attended first grade at Dry Creek Schoolhouse. Thereafter she attended school in Summerville as well as Imbler, graduating from Imbler High School in 1949.
After moving to Kentucky, and while raising her family, she learned china painting and became proficient to the point of teaching it.
Fay was very loving and generous with her family. Her grandchildren were very special and important to her and she centered her life around them.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Long, of Louisville, KY; her two sons, Tony (Lisa) of Louisville, KY, Terry (Angela) of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren, Suzanne Long, Tiffany Long, Rachael Long and Terry Long Jr. She is also survived by her brother, A. Hurshel Quebbeman of La Grande, Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert L. and Opal M. Quebbeman.
Fay will be missed by her family and friends.
