Edith Loraine Olsen

Edith Loraine Olsen, 87, of Rio Vista, California and formerly of La Grande, died September 12. Burial will be in Baker City. Mrs. Olsen was born April 23, 1918, to Edgar and Susan Bennett in Baker City. She attended La Grande High School and lived in central Idaho for many years. She worked for JC Penny's and after her retirement returned to La Grande. She moved to California in 2002. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Rebekah Lodge and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors include her daughters, Lynne Galletta of Rio Vista and Pamela Grant of Puyallup, Washington; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Memorials may be made to any local hospice organizations.
