Edith C. (Miller) Green, 105, of Joseph, died May 8 at Wallowa Valley Care Center in Enterprise. She will be buried at Prairie Creek Cemetery, and a memorial service will be held later. Bollman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edith was born Nov. 19, 1902, to Albert and Edith Miller in Minneapolis. Her mother died six months later, and Edith was raised by several aunts until the families moved to Long Beach, Calif. Not permitted a college education, she provided trust funds to her descendants and all of them are college graduates.

Survivors include three children, Norman of San Rafael, Calif., Donald of Joseph and Dorothy Duncan of California City, Calif.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Joseph United Methodist Church.
