DOROTHEA ELLEN LEE

Dorothea Ellen Lee, age 87, of Union, died Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Union with The Rev. Jerry Peters officiating. Private burial will be held at the Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Lee was born on October 3, 1916, the daughter of Harold Pleas and Ethel Mary (Cox) Ritter in Halfway, Oregon. She was raised and educated in Halfway and later came to Union. After her marriage to Gilbert E. Lee ended, she married Henry Reuter and they owned and operated Reuter Hardware for many years. After his death she married Henry Lee and he also preceded her in death. She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her children, Gordon Duane Lee of Union, Sherryl Burke of Union, Donna Kay Perrott of California, Bonnie Rae King of Ogden, Utah, Mike Harold Reuter of Fairchild, Georgia and Pat Henry Reuter of Oregon City; thirty grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. A daughter, Nora Gene Reuter, and three brothers preceded her in death.
