Donna Lee Houle, 82, of Pendleton and formerly of La Grande, died Feb. 28 at Suttle Care and Retirement. A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. March 12 at Olney Cemetery. Visitation will run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 10 at Pendleton Pioneer Chapel, Folsom-Bishop. Condolences may be posted at www.pioneerchapel.com.
Donna was born Dec. 24, 1928, to Loren T. Carver and James Mildred (Hallmark) Kirkland in La Grande. She graduated from La Grande High School and attended some college.
Donna married Elwin Curtis Houle Oct. 16, 1949. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Danny Houle of Longview, Wash., James Houle of Pendleton, Wesley Houle of Key West, Fla., Jeffrey Houle of Portland and Kenneth Houle of Hillsboro; brother, James Carver of Cottage Grove; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elwin.
