Donald Leroy Roe Celebration of Life Service

Donald Leroy Roe passed away at 9:00PM on November 29, 2013 at his home in Prospect, OR in Jackson County where his wife Delores Wanda Roe, their three sons, his brother and many family and friends said farewell as he passed away.

Don's body will be laid in peace next to his parents and other family members. A private internment service for Don will be held at 4:00PM on Friday June 27, 2014 at Hillcrest Cemetery in La Grande, OR in Union County.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at the First Christian Church in La Grande, Union County Oregon on Saturday June 28, 2014 at 2:00PM. Don's favorite songs will be played. Family and friends are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served at the church after the services.

The service will be performed by Pastor Gary Berkland former Pastor of Advent Lutheran Church from Morgan Hill, CA & Pastor Donald Dunn, current pastor of First Christian Church, La Grande OR.
A Military Honor Guard Grave Side Service will be held on Saturday June 28, 2014 at 5:00PM at Hillcrest Cemetery in La Grande OR, Union County Oregon. Services will be performed by Pastor Donald Dunn of La Grand First Christian Church.


During the service a Military Head Stone will be placed on the grave behind the family head stone and Taps will be performed by the Army National Guard and a United States American Flag will be presented to Delores his wife in honor of Don's service to the Military from 1956 to 1958. The Hymn Amazing Grace will be sung by those who choose to sing after the service at Don's grave side. It was a favorite Song of Dons and has been chosen by his wife and son's. Family and Friends are invited to attend the Cemetery service in La Grande, OR.
Donald Leroy Roe & Wife Delores Wanda Roe both grew up in La Grande OR and attended First Christian Church and was also married in the Church June 25, 1960.

They raised their family in Morgan Hill, CA and were Charter Members of Advent Lutheran Church in the 1970's until 1994 Pastor Gary Baptized Donald & Delores's three sons Tracy Leray Roe, Terry Scott Roe & Troy Allen Roe.

In 1994 Donald & Delores Roe Retired and moved to Prospect, OR and attended Trail Community Church from 1994 and remain current members until Don's passing. Delores and her son Terry & Troy remain members of Trail Community Church in Trail, OR Jackson County, OR. Son Tracy & his Wife Jacqueline Roe are members of Jefferson Baptist Church in Jefferson, OR Marion County, OR
