Donald Forest Myer

Donald Forest Myer, 75 of La Grande died April 18, 2005 at his home.

An informal celebration of life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2005 at the Eagles Lodge in La Grande.

Mr. Myer was born in January 25, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan. He lived in La Grande since he was nine years old. He was married to Phyllis Myer and had three children; Raymond, Susan and Donald.

Donald served in United States Navy during the Korean War and was discharged in 1954. He later was in partnership with Larry Folston at Don & Larry's distributionship since 1969. Mr. Myer belonged to the Elk's, Eagles, American Legion and enjoyed his vacation home on Lake Havasu.

He is survived by his children, Raymond Myer of West Linn, Oregon and Susan Arnason of Porltand, Oregon; sister Marion, of Lewiston, Idaho, brother Earl Myer of Ocean Park, Washington and companion Jo Tildon of La Grande. His Parents, son Donald Myer and brother Edwin Myer all preceded him in death.
