Donald F. Mc Cusker

Donald F. McCusker, 78, of Goldendale, Washington and formerly of Cove, died February 19, 2006 at his home. The funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Goldendale with Father William Byron officiating. Erdman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McCusker was born October 16, 1927 to George and Eva McCusker in Dickinson, N.D. He graduated from Olympia High School in 1945 and later from Tri-State College of Indiana. He served in the Army in Japan after World War II and on June 11, 1966 he married Linda Michelsen in Olympia, Washington. He worked for the Washington State Department of Transportation for 30 years as an engineer and lived in Cove from 1996 to 2001. He was a member of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife of Goldendale; children, Christopher McCusker of Denison, Texas, Patrick McCusker of Juarez, Mexico, Shirleen Long of Centralia, Washington, Lori McCusker of Chelais, Washington and Corinne Bannister of Blackfoot, Idaho; a brother, Bill McCusker of Nampa, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and other relatives. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any charity.
