Debra Jean Volavchek

Debra Jean Volavchek, age 47, of Hermiston and formerly of La Grande died September 8, 2005 at the Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Washington. A memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Burns Mortuary, 685 W. Hermiston Avenue, in Hermiston.

Mrs. Volavchek was born December 4, 1957 to Robert and Donna Frash in La Grande. She married Rick Volavchek in La Grande and lived in Hermiston for 26 years. She worked at 7-Eleven and at the Wal-Mart distribution center as a reports clerk, and enjoyed the Oregon Coast and her cats.

Survivors include her husband of Hermiston; her parents of La Grande a grandmother, Sylvia Wilson of La Grande; a daughter, Alaina Gray of Hermiston; a brother, Randy Frash of La Grande; a sister, Rose Caudle of Kennewick, Washington and one grandson.
