Deborah Lynn Rynearson

Deborah Lynn Rynearson, age 59, a lifetime resident of La Grande, died August 3, 2014 in La Grande after struggling with ill health for the past several years. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center. No public services are planned at this time.

Debbie was born April 13, 1955 to George William "Bill" Rynearson and Martha Jean (Bush) Rynearson. After graduating from La Grande High School she attended both beauty and florist schools in Portland. She was proud of her family's ancestors who traveled to the Grande Ronde Valley in 1865 and homesteaded on Blackhawk Trail where they were involved in orchards, farming, stock raising cattle and horses and their blacksmithing trade.

Debbie enjoyed a good time and had a witty, sharp sense of humor. She was also a good cook who could change common fare into sumptuous meals. She especially enjoyed the month of April and the daffodils that were always in bloom on her birthday.

Survivors include her nieces, Megan Anne Rynearson and Kerri Leigh Rynearson and nephew, Joseph David Rynearson. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Michael William Rynerson and David Neil Rynearson.
