David Gregory Beickel

David Gregory Beickel, age 58, of La Grande and formerly of England, died Friday, December 9, 2005 at his home. At his request there will be no public services. Those who wish may sign the on-line guest book at www.danielschapel.com.

David was born on July 19, 1947, the son of Elmer and Pauline (Bach) Beickel in La Grande. He graduated from La Grande High School in 1968 and served with the United States Army. In the early 1970's he moved to England and worked in the printing industry. He returned to La Grande in 1998. He loved sports of all kinds, had a keen sense of humor and was very kind and generous. He was a very spiritual man and studied all aspects of the subject and was a Pastor of the Universal Life Church. He family and friends were important to him.

Survivors include his companion, Debra Keltz of La Grande; father and step-mother, Elmer and Barbara Beickel of La Grande; brother, Roger Beickel of La Grande; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. His mother, Pauline, preceded him in death in 1967.
