Daniel Albert Lyon

Daniel Albert Lyon of La Grande, formerly of Pendleton, died Monday, December 19, 2022 in La Grande at the age of 62.

Private interment was held in the Grandview Cemetery in La Grande near the grave of his father.

Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center of La Grande.

Daniel was born on November 23, 1960 in Pendleton, the son of Everett and Esther (Bates) Lyon.  He was raised and educated in Pilot Rock for the first half of his life, before moving with his father to La Grande where he spent the remainder.

Surviving relatives include his mother, Esther Lyon and his sister, Sharon Campbell, both of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, his brothers, David Lyon of La Grande, and Robert Lyon of Toledo.

He was preceded in death by his father Everett in 2006 and a brother, Wayne.
