Dallas William Wilson, 90 of Portland and formerly of La Grande, died November 6 at his home.
The funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gresham Funeral Chapel, 257 S.E. Roberts Ave., in Gresham. A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Cemetery in Boardman.
Mr. Wilson was born January 11, 1914 to Robert Samuel and Minnie Montague Wilson in Cecil. He graduated from Boardman High School and served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He married Etoile S. Simmons in 1942 and worked at M.J. Goss Motors in La Grande in the early 1940s before moving to Portland. He joined Poulson Wilson in 1964 and served as president until his death He was known as an innovator with a generous nature.
He was a member of Riverside Golf and Country Club and founded and founded and operated Wilson's Willow Run Golf Course on the family farm in Boardman.
Survivors include his wife of Portland; three sisters, Phyllis Baker and Brick Duffy of The Dalles, and Audrey Smith of Portland; and other relatives.
Two brother, R.E. "Pat" Wilson and Ted Wilson, and three sisters, Imogen Johnston, Elsie McClaskey and Gladys Morrison, all died earlier.
Memorials may be made to Loaves and Fishes or Providence Hospice in care of Gresham Chapel.
