Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Nadeau

January 31, 1951 — November 15, 2008

Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Nadeau, 57, of La Grande died unexpectedly at her home on Nov. 15. A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Loveland Funeral Chapel.

Cindy was born on Jan. 31, 1951, to John F. Miller and Jean Ruth Rudd in Phoenix, Ariz. She was raised in Tucson, Ariz., and graduated in the top of her class from Palo Verde High School.

She later married and raised three children, making them her life's work and pleasure. Cindy enjoyed reading books, photography and had a gift for teaching children. She also had a passion for the outdoors, nature, animals and especially music.

She instilled these passions in her children and grandchildren for whom an enduring love will always be shared. Cindy will be missed by those who knew her kind and caring heart, family members said.

Cindy is survived by her children, Stacey and Kevin Kosarek of Madison, Wis., Kalen and Tom Mills Jr. of Union and Seth and Mandy Nadeau of La Grande; siblings, Pamela and Andy Kleiman of Walnut Creek, Calif., Bruce Chapman of Tucson, Jackie Randall of Tucson, David and Louise Chapman of Camp Verde, Ariz., Danetta Chapman of Tucson; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Frank Miller and Jean Chapman, and stepfather Dan Chapman.
