Clella Jamieson

Clella Marie Jamieson (nee Cornell), age 88, passed away at LaGrande, Oregon, on Saturday, December 14, 2002.

She was born in Big Pine, California, Dec 11, 1914, to Rufus and Mary Cornell. She married Albert A. Jamieson, April 21, 1933, in Big Pine, California.

They moved to Nyssa in 1935 and resided there the greater part of their married life. They moved to Portland, Oregon, in 1973 where she was employed in the State Office of USDA, Farmers Home Administration. She worked for that agency for 26 years until the time of her retirement in 1978.

She was a member of the Oregon Trail Grange and Owyhee Riding Club in Nyssa.

Surviving are 2 sons, Stan Jamieson of LaPuente, California, and Jim Jamieson of Kennewick, Washington; 2 daughters, Phyllis Morris of Summerville, Oregon and Marlene Jamieson of Newberg, Oregon. At the time of her death there were 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1976, daughter Loraine Morris in 1988, her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and 2 grandchildren.

Interment at the Nyssa Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
