Catherine Elizabeth Coleman

Our Mom, grandmother, aunt and friend was born to James and Francis Beers on December 18, 1919, in East St. Louis, Illinois. She married Wayne Coleman on October 8, 1939. Mom died surrounded by close family on December 19, 2007. She was preceded in death by twin daughters, husband and two sisters. Children are Ronald Wayne (Joyce); Cathleen Coleman Lee(David); Marie Huestis (Mark) and Mary Smith(Tim). There are 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Mom loved to crochet and canned anything that didn't move. Mom loved all babies and raised four (and a special niece, Donna) to be her own.

God saw that she was very tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around her and whispered "Come with me."

Mom was buried next to her husband in Island City Oregon. A Celebration of Live will be held at the Shilo Inn at the Portland Airport on December 29, 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held in the spring. No flowers please.
