Carrie Lynn Smith, 46, of Pendleton and formerly of Union, died Feb. 14 in a single-vehicle accident.
Memorial services will begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army Church in Pendleton. Private inurnment will be held in Hermiston Cemetery. Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements.
Carrie Smith was born Feb. 8, 1963, to Robert and Janice (Bain) Smith in Hermiston. She was raised in Stanfield and graduated from Stanfield High School in 1981.
After living in Stanfield and Union for several years she moved to Pendleton with her son in 1997.
Carrie worked at Keystone and was active in her son Tucker's life, from Cub Scouts to being a Pilot Rock "Rocket."
Carrie is survived by her son, Tucker Keith of Pendleton; parents, Robert and Janice Smith of Union; brother-in-law, Bob Swales of Hermiston; sister, Robbin Swales of Pendleton; sister and brother-in-law, Valerie and Hank Stockhoff of Union; nine nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at the US Bank Pendleton branch for the Tucker Smith Trust or the Pendleton Breast Cancer Foundation Chapter in care of Burns Mortuary of Pendleton, 336 SW Dorion Ave., Pendleton 97801.
