Carolyn Trimble

January 10, 1952 — October 6, 2004

Carolyn Trimble, age 52 , of La Grande, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at her home after an extended illness. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summerville Baptist Church in Summerville, Oregon. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest East Cemetery.

Carolyn Trimble was born on January 10, 1952, the daughter of Donald and Stella (Zerby) Cyr in Pasco, Washington. Carolyn was raised in Kennewick, Washington where she came to know Jesus Christ at and early age, she attended Kennewick schools and after graduating from high school Carolyn attended Western Baptist Bible College and Tennessee Temple College. She would later move back to Kennewick where she met Ernest Trimble, together the couple were married on August 11, 1972 in Kennewick at the West Highlands Baptist Church. The couple lived in Hermiston for nineteen years before moving to La Grande in 1998. Carolyn worked as a bookkeeper and enjoyed singing in the church choir, teaching Sunday school classes, ceramics and loved to bake. She dearly loved children and her family.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest Trimble of La Grande; children, Jeff Trimble of Lacey, Washington, Matt Trimble of Spokane, Washington and Katrina Trimble of La Grande; parents Donald and Stella Cyr of Kennewick, Washington; brothers Michael Cyr of McMinnville, Oregon and Stephen Cyr of Seattle, Washington and other relatives and friends.
