Brandi Lynel Tippet

Brandi Lynel Tippet, 36, formerly of La Grande and Enterprise, died Feb. 19 as the result of an automobile accident. Services were held Feb. 25 at the Virgil T. Golden Funeral Home in Salem. A graveside service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wallowa Cemetery.

Brandi was born Feb. 25, 1974, in Enterprise, the oldest of three children.

In 1980 she moved with her family to Wilsonville, where she attended elementary school. She graduated from West Linn High School in 1992. Brandi attended Cottey College in Missouri and Eastern Oregon University, where she played softball. She went on to graduate from Oregon Health Science University's nursing school.

After completing her education, Brandi worked in the health care field. For the last seven years she worked in the birthing center at the Silverton Hospital as a registered nurse.

Brandi will be remembered for her compassion for people and animals. She especially loved dogs and was a proud owner of three dogs. Brandi loved the outdoors and excelled in many sports. Those who knew her say she enjoyed travel and lived life to the fullest.

Survivors include her parents, Jim and Patty Tippet; brothers, Cody Tippet, Dustin Tippet and Andy Williams; and three nieces and two nephews.
