Brad Steven Jordan, 50, of Gresham and formerly of La Grande died Oct. 13 at his home after an extended illness. Viewing will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Loveland Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mr. Jordan was born March 22, 1954, to Roy P. and Catherine Jordan in La Grande. He graduated from La Grande High School in 1972, and married Rita Coles on Sept. 1, 1973. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in La Grande and Portland, and for Metro Link in Los Angeles County in California.

He was a quiet man who showed his affections through his actions. He enjoyed elk hunting and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Dena Hagan and Heidi Jordan; three grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Peterson and Caroline Schie; and a brother, Bob Jordan.
