Billy Joe Helton

Billy Joe Helton, 43, of La Grande, died April 10.

A celebration of life will begin at 2 p.m. April 24 at New Life Center in La Grande.

Billy Joe was born Nov. 30, 1964, in John Day.

Survivors include parents, Tony and Darla Thomas of La Grande; son, Ricky Helton of La Grande; granddaughter; and sisters, Toni Sue of La Grande, and Kristina Vencen of Coffeyville, Kan. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Helton; grandmother, Shirley Johnston; grandfather, Marion Johnston; and son, Billy Clyde.
