Billie Sharon Crumley

Billie Sharon Crumley, 75, of Elgin, died March 21 in Elgin. Services will be in Portland. Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.

Billie was born Sept. 1, 1935, at Scobey, Mont., to William and Evelyn (Owen) Southland. She attended Whitetail Elementary and Flaxville High School in Montana. She married Marvin Crumley and they lived in Portland. Billie was employed at Precision Castparts and was awarded for 36 years of service.

Billie's favorite activities were bowling, crafting, reading and Bunco.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Cheri and Tim Stone of Clackamas, Lynda and Ken Wadley of Happy Valley, Renee Faddis of Vancouver, Wash., Bryan and Cindie Crumley of Elgin and Brenda and John Cheevers of Elgin; siblings and their spouses, Sandra Dobles of Imperial Beach, Calif., and Stuart and Ruth Southland; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine nieces and nephews.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; her parents; brother, Van Southland; and grandson, Bruce Burgess.
