Betty June Stratemeyer

Betty June Stratemeyer, 86, of Springfield and formerly of La Grande, died April 27 of congestive heart failure. Her funeral was held May 2 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Santa Clara 2nd Ward in Eugene. Burial was at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.

She was born Aug. 27, 1924, to Cornelius "Hugh" and Emma Perry Hendrickson in Portland. She married William "Bill" Stratemeyer in Salt Lake City. He died Aug. 28, 2001.

She graduated from La Grande High School. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Price.
