Betty A. Strand

Betty A. Strand, age 81, of La Grande died at her home on October 29, 2004. She will be buried at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Miss. Strand was born on October 15, 1923 in La Grande, Oregon to Thomas and Almo Olson Strand. She was raised and educated in La Grande, graduating from La Grande High School and what is now Eastern Oregon University. She worked as the store manager for S&H Green Stamps for several years. She was also a bookkeeper for Nels-N-Out. She will be remembered and missed for her loved for cats.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard, Sheldon and Thomas and her sisters, Elaine Toll and Jeannette Robbs.
