Bessie Bernice Rigwood, 85, of La Grande and formerly of Baker City, died May 14 at a local care center. A private burial was held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Baker City.
She was born Aug. 3, 1924, in New Rockford, N.D., to George and Rose Thomale.
