Barbara Rae Mcdaniel

Barbara Rae McDaniel, 67, of La Grande, died July 17 at a local nursing center.

A celebration of life will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at New Song Community Church in La Grande. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Enterprise Cemetery.

Barbara was born Oct. 27, 1941, to Glen and Wilda (Sasser) Trump in Enterprise and she was raised in Wallowa County. She graduated from Joseph High School and raised her three children in Union County.

She enjoyed sports; going to church and participating in church activities; spending time with grandchildren supporting their school activities; and having family and friends around. She spent many years volunteering in the community and really enjoyed her job working for New Day Enterprises.

She is survived by her brother, Lowell and his wife, Phyllis Trump, of Madras; son, John and his wife, Connie Trump, of Baker City; daughter, Jodi and her husband, Rick Hinsley, of Bonney Lake, Wash.; daughter, Glenda McDaniel of La Grande; and eight grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gayle Trump; sister, Brenda VanArsdale; and nephew, Vince Trump.
